Unexpected savings – right in my own neighborhood!!
Over the weekend I had the pleasure of assisting lovely La Donna in finding an outfit to wear for her graduation party this Saturday. Sunday we went to Kohl’s because let’s face it, you ALWAYS find something at Kohl’s! Combined with current sales and a coupon, she ended up buying TWO dresses for just over $60!
It doesn’t end there though. She went to return some shoes at Stein Mart and in the process, ended up selecting things that she thought would go well for her party, and asked me to stop by the next day so we could finish up there. My oh my!!!! Stein Mart is like a little Nordstrom that I didn’t pay attention to for a long time!
I saw Michael by Michael Kors dresses, AK by Anne Klein dresses, Rock & Republic Jeans, GUESS jeggings…the list goes on and on! Many people view Stein Mart as an “old lady store” but that is so not true! There are plenty of good quality items for GREAT prices.
While I was in the store, I hopped on my phone and signed up for their e-mail club and within 30 minutes I had a 20% off one item coupon! They send coupons religiously so I suggest signing up for that e-mail club.
Needless to say, I went back yesterday and bought this great maxi dress that I just had to have. And I used my 20% off coupon. 🙂

August 17, 2011 at 12:06 pmOhhh I'll have to see if there is a Stein Mart semi-local to me! I never would have thought about shopping there…and honestly, I thought they were like a Joanns or Michaels lol. They really should advertise more. :0)
